The Big Breakfast Diet!
18 June 2008 | Author: Daisy
Roll up! Roll up! Those hungry diet experts have something new to shove down our throats to… urm ‘guarentee’ weight-loss!
Okay I may joke but The Big Breakfast Diet appears to actually make some sense! Though it’s clear I must have been doing something wrong…
According to a new study, scientists have researched the connection between consuming a ‘large’ breakfast and losing weight.
The research has shown that people put on the diet, in which they consume a breakfast full of protein and carbohydrates which make up almost half their daily calorie intake, lost more weight over a period of 8 months. The Big Breakfast dieters lost up to 21% of their body weight, whereas a controlled group lost just 4.5%.
The women who took part all documented a reduction in food cravings throughout the day after they ate a larger breakfast. Experts have noted that diets which merely restrict carbohydrates often fail because they do not curb cravings for calorie-rich foods.
Okay… this is all well and good, however I’ve been eating a “Big Breakfast” ever since Chris Evans inspired me to do so! And so far I’ve lost all of 0% of my over body weight! So what am I doing wrong?!

I started the Big Breakfast Diet yesterday and so far I can say that the cravings are all gone and the best of all is that I don’t feel peckish at night!! Let’s hope that makes difference…

I totally agree with the Big Breakfast Diet.
When I have a good breakfast, I find that I dont have to eat throughout the day till about 6 p.m.
