Supersize Vs Superskinny
Hey guys! Just a quick reminder of this new series starting tonight on Channel 4! Each hour-long programme of Supersize Vs Superskinny, presented by (the gorgeous) Dr Christian Jessen, will feature a short diet swap between two contributors with wildly contrasting eating habits. The show will see a superskinny undereater swap diet and lifestyle with an overweight overeater.
The outcome of the five day swap is to hopefully make the contributors realise they both have a dysfunctional relationship with food, and to prove that eating too much is just as bad as undereating. Which is a fact that needs discussing publicly, just as much as the dangers of obesity. Young people today are constantly being hounded by the media to eat healthy, exercise more and stay slim. Though we don’t hear enough about the dangers of taking this kind of regime to the extreme, which sadly so many people do. Supersize Vs Superskinny is a well-balanced programme that will obviously speak out to a huge range of people, fat or thin.
I’ve also heard on the grapevine that Anna Richardson will be testing out all those fad diets that the celebrities can’t get enough of. Good Luck to her I say- she’ll need it!
Supersize Vs Superskinny - Channel 4 Tuesdays starting 22 January at 8pm

This should be an interesting show. However, I think there are more people taking the extreme of eating too much, rather than eating too little. I agree both are equally unhealthy…

Well I can tell you that this show is a load of nonsense that misrepresents and fabricates. The programme makers had a profile they wanted fitting and were bent on making us skinny people fit it, whether we had issues or not. Yes, I took part in it. And no, I don’t have issues
