The Truth about Swimwear

100% People have conducted a survey in which 848 women were questioned about swimwear and how it makes them feel.

The results show a staggering 41% of women never feel confident wearing a swim suit.

The research suggests that women have real concerns with exposing their bodies in swimwear. Of the women asked, 60% admitted to being a UK size 14 or above.

When so many women find purchasing and wearing swimwear such a traumatic and frustrating experience, is it any wonder so many of us have issues with this holiday essential? (more…)

Plus-Size Swimwear

Deciding what to take, and what not to take on holiday is always a struggle.

Obviously you want to prepare for every eventuality, but you also want to travel as light as possible.

If you’re setting off for a few weeks on the beach you’ll more than likely want to take some kind of swimsuit with you. We can all sit sunbathing for hours on end, but there always comes a point where you can’t stand the heat any longer and you end up cooling down in the sea or swimming pool.

Are you faking it?

We all know that having a tan makes us feel healthier, more confident and for many of us, slimmer than our pastier counterparts.

However, according to Cancer Research UK sun beds are responsible for over 100 deaths a year. Using a sun bed just once a month can increase your risk of skin cancer by half!
